Martin Massé has been Vice President, Public Affairs, Aéroports de Montréal (“ADM”) since March 2018. Over the last 20 years, he has worked in Québec, elsewhere in Canada and in Europe, advising executives in both the public and private sectors on strategic and complex files.

Before joining ADM’s team, he held strategic and decision-making positions in the Québec and Montreal public sectors, including as Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, as special advisor to the Mayor of Montreal, and as chief of staff to the Québec Minister of Transport and Minister Responsible for the Montreal Region. More recently, he was chief of staff to the Deputy Premier of Québec and Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation.

During his tenure in the Québec government, Mr. Massé worked on complex transborder issues such as the NAFTA renegotiation, the softwood lumber dispute, the steel and aluminum tariffs dispute, Boeing’s lawsuit against Bombardier, and US customs pre-clearance at Québec City’s Jean Lesage International Airport and Montreal’s central rail station.

Mr. Massé, a lawyer (University of Ottawa), also holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from École nationale d'administration publique (ENAP), and a Graduate Diploma in Management from HEC Montréal. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course as well as the first examination of the CFA designation.

His keen interest in US politics led him to become an observer in the campaigns of two presidential candidates and to serve as a political analyst for the highest-rated French-speaking news radio station in Canada.

Mr. Massé is fluent in French and English, and also speaks Polish.
